Hey guys!
First off, welcome! I’m super stoked to have finally gotten this blog up and running! It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now and I’m excited about getting to write more content.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Angelina. I'm a student, writer, and self-proclaimed tea connoisseur with many dreams and ambitions for my life. Yet in all that I do, I do it with the intent of glorifying God and I hope to cover these and more in greater detail within future articles.
What you can expect from this blog:
-Articles that address a variety of topics including faith, mental health, among many others that I’m passionate about.
-Personal anecdotes and stories from time-to-time.
-And maybe some other surprises along the way.
Why I started this blog:
I started this blog because I wanted a platform of my own to write on. Having the creative freedom to write about more complex subjects was also a huge factor for starting this blog. I’m also using it to chronicle my writing journey so that way I’ll always be able to look back and see how far I’ve come since first starting out.
Since this is my first post, I’ll do some quick fun facts about me:
-I’m an INFP.
-The easiest way to befriend me is through a mutual love of kombucha. Or any tea really. If I had to choose though, I'd say green tea for the win.
-My favourite desserts are tiramisu, chocolate lava cake, and cinnamon buns.
-I do use the Oxford comma (see above example for proof).
-I love learning about other cultures and have many countries I want to visit on my bucket list. In addition to visiting popular travel destinations, I also want to travel to some more unconventional places (Kyrgyzstan anyone?).
-I’m a history buff. I’ve also found that my interest in history is very useful for writing because I can pull from historical events for inspiration. I may or may not be doing this for one of my current WIPs.
So that’s it from me. Once again, I’m very excited to be starting this blog and looking forward to all that lies ahead.
