It Has Been Awhile

Well, I’m back.

It’s been awhile. I could start off by saying I was busy. That I just didn't have enough time to write. And while that’s partially true, that’s only one of several reasons why I haven’t frequently been updating my blog. However, that's a story for another day. Maybe I’ll eventually get around to sharing it.

I’m still currently on hiatus with my writing account. I’m unsure if I'll ever reactivate it. For now though, I’ve returned to posting articles on my blog. Possibly some poetry too. We’ll see.

I have lots of ideas of things I want to write about. Topics I’m passionate about and believe are worth discussing. However, I would also like to write more casual articles about things going on in my life.

At the same time, I don’t want to become a full-time blogger. After all, blogs are a medium that traditionally caters towards those with a specific niche interest. I, for one, have too many niche interests that it becomes difficult to pigeonhole my work. Blogs also aren’t typically sought out by non-avid readers. However, I have some ideas of how to elevate my writing to make my work more accessible to non-avid readers. I’m hoping to implement these ideas in future articles.

Part of me worries I’m making too many big promises I won’t be able to live up to. Yet, I can’t deny that I enjoy challenging myself. That desire to better myself as a creative is what made me excited to write again, knowing that there are so many new things I want to try to improve my work.

I’m also hoping to collaborate with more people. Whether that’s through guest articles or interviews, I’m tinkering with some ideas of projects I could work on alongside others.

So for those of you new to my work, welcome! I mainly write about my faith and other issues that are important to me. But who knows what will become of this blog? Hope you’ll stick around to find out though.
